In the OP’s case, he’s got the new Trigger and Safety. His gun is sort of unique in that it’s got Speed Load but uses the old Carrier Spring. That only occurred 1953-57.

I have it lined up with the half circle and I have the right sized punch but it will not budge. The gun is in excellant shape so i'm positive rust is not stopping it from coming out.
