May 3, 2020 · I have a cub cadet model 782 for sale. It has a Kohler 17hp Series II engine with a 44” mowing deck. Always garaged and did not sit out in weather. Still runs and cuts grass. Runs rough because oil getting into carb from crankcase breather valve. Many recently replaced parts including coil, front tire, seat, and battery. Asking $550. To The Owner. And, since it will be a little while before I need to install the tiller, I decided to finally change the cork gasket to cure my hydro leak.

The 144782399 is not the serial number. It is a Model number. Here is the breakdown: 144- 1984 model year. 782- Tractor model 782. 399- IH Red paint scheme. The serial number would be the last six sequential of the lower number, which above is 737324. There should not be two tractors sharing the same six digit sequential number.
