i need a stator for my 15hp, i dont know much about motors but i know its the stator, i dont know the year of the outboard but i do have the model and serial number model #: 217-586-352 serial #: 38-160521I just bought a 15 hp gamefisher (force) for a $100. I put a new water pump on it,cleaned the carb and replaced fuel lines. Compression is 90 on ea. cyd. I'm having a fuel issue and not sure what else I can do. It is loading up on #2 cyd. Re: Gamefisher 9.9/15 hp from 80's ignition repair-retrofitting I'm not sure what your working on here but its nothing like any of the mid to late 80's Gamefisher motors I've ever seen, all of mine have two coils under the flywheel and a top mounted recoil. I think what you have there is the earlier model Eska motor not a newer Force/Gamefisher.

The impeller fins are straight when new, but they take a "set" from being bent over in the waterpump housing over time, normal, but not good. The impeller should be replaced every 2 years, or if you don't know it's age.

I've got a 15 hp Gamefisher model number 217-586361. I believe that makes it an Eska model. But anyways having some problems with it running and I'm doing some trouble shooting. Where is the fuel pump located? I can't figure it out, I believe it's like a little red tube looking thing, but I have no idea where it is.
