There was a service Bulletin and a class Action suit on the previous CVT models, Civic, ZE1 where they repair the start clutch and extend the warranty. I've not heard of any Problems with the ZE2. I'm mechanically not an unwritten sheet. I heavily think that the start clutch in the CVT is toast. CVT fluid has been replaced at Honda with 40k miles.
