Sep 7, 2016 · Slow speed movement reuslts in a whining noise. I went to service and the technician told me that CVT transmission is normal. I wrote an email to Subaru North America. They said they didn't get any records from the dealer. My car is around 4,500 miles and another noise came from the front side. Do you also have the noise from the front side my 2007 versa with the cvt trans is making a whine noise and is continues when you stop for a second or two like if something is trying to decelerate . I have 58000 miles. it does not make the noise in neutral only in drive and it has felt like it heisted a few times.
