The ethanol breaks the hose down and the bits lodge in the small orfices/passages of the carbs on engines up to very early 80's or so. Your engine should have ethanol-resistant fuel lines-so I am somewhat suprised.

(I'm assumming the control box is in neutral). The 20 amp fuse is on the motor in a red wire coming off the solenoid. (I would check the fuse first).
