The Hoyt RX7 has a much smoother draw, and it is also longer and more forgiving. If you're looking to upgrade your bow, the RX7 is definitely worth it.I had just sold a ventum 33 and wanted to try a different brand than hoyt. My ventum 33 was pretty dead also so I imagine the VTM will be close to the phase 4. Draw cycle on the HBX cam was better than the mathews.

I'm looking to go down to a 50# bow (old man with old shoulders, lol) and have not liked the recent offerings from Mathews at all. Last week I spent a while shooting my AU along side a used 50# Traverse I picked up and a new Phase 4 33 turned sown to 55#. I gotta say the Phase 4 was surprisingly pleasant to shoot.
